Beverly Scellato, a family-oriented mountaineer at heart, has completed her new book "The Everlasting Arms": a heartwarming tale of faith and struggle during the Great Depression.

Depicting her goals for her writing, Scellato says, "I wanted to try, in my humble way, to tell the story of a family of my grandparent's generation during the latter part of the Great Depression. It's a story of the faith of one family and God's sustaining grace through the trials of their life. This time period in history represents the prime of life for my grandparents, who stayed in the

hills to raise their family in a "coal camp" in southern West Virginia."

Published by Newman Springs Publishing, Beverly Scellato's inspiring tale brings history, faith, and family together in a well-crafted, intriguing work of fiction.

While a West Virginia family struggles through the Great Depression, they come across a lost girl.  This mysterious stranger hiding desperately in their hay lofts speaks no English, but gradually reveals her past and, with the guidance of her new companions, finds her strength through faith.

Readers who wish to experience this moving work can purchase "The Everlasting Arms" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iBooks Store, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble.
