Digital Asset Custody Company Brane Announces New President and Chief Executive Officer, Founder to Stay as Director and Chief Strategy Officer

OTTAWA, Ontario and TORONTO, March 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomas Gerginis joined the corporation as President and CEO. Founder and past-CEO Patrick McLaughlin will stay on as a Board of Director and Chief Strategy Officer. The North America-wide executive search was conducted by Odgers Berndtson.

Thomas is a senior corporate executive, portfolio manager, and corporate securities lawyer based in Toronto, Canada. He brings very deep and broad leadership experience – primarily gained from the high growth global wealth management sector -- having served in senior executive leadership roles ranging from a leading global investment/brokerage firm, a national trust company, a boutique hedge fund company, a North American private bank and two leading Canadian-based investment/brokerage firms.  Thomas holds a MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, a JD from the University of Windsor's School of Law, a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University's School of International & Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts from York University.  He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
